North Carolina’s own GRAMMY-winning ensemble, Steep Canyon Rangers, beloved for bringing a fresh, progressive fire to traditional bluegrass, have announced an extensive schedule for 2026. The Steep Canyon Rangers tour is not a single named run but rather a series of headlining dates across the United States, interspersed with highly-anticipated appearances.
The 2026 dates officially begin on January 16 in Rocky Mount, VA. The band will be performing solo shows, but also continuing their celebrated collaboration with comedy legends, serving as the backing band for Steve Martin and Martin Short for their variety show, The Best of Steve Martin and Martin Short, often with Jeff Babko as well. Major cities on the schedule include Dallas, Berkeley, Washington D.C., Savannah, and a special performance with the Nashville Symphony in Nashville.
